Dry-Hopped Sour Ale with Lemons| 5% abv
Obolus is a collaboration with Sloop Brewing Co. in Elizaville, NY. Brewed at the beautiful barn that houses Sloop, we brought our sour culture and soured this beer in the kettle, boiled it with Galaxy hops, fermented with Sloop’s house ale yeast, and dryhopped it with Galaxy, lemon peel, and a lot of lemon juice.
Obolus tastes like a mix between Limoncello, orange Tang, and a melted lemon-lime icepop.
Ingredients: 2-row malted barley, raw wheat, house yeasts, sour cultures, Galaxy hops, lots of lemons.
