Dark Sour Ale | 9%

Lilith is a blend of two dark sour ales: one aged for a full year in a red wine barrel and the other aged for 6 months in a Woodford Reserve bourbon barrel. Once a long secondary fermentation with our house sour culture was complete, we added 50 pounds of raspberries to each barrel and let it ferment again.

Lilith begins with tart raspberries up front, and while it is a dry beer the darker malts leave lingering flavors of dark chocolate cake. Rounded out by wood and vanilla from the long stay in oak barrels, Lilith is something to be savored.

Ingredients: 2-row barley malt, raw wheat, chocolate malt, our house sour culture, rasperries, and oak barrels.
